Five Star Enhanced Gun Permit School will offer a training class in Mountain City beginning at 8:30 a.m. The class is held at 114 Donnelly St. The classroom is located in the fire hall and is taught by Ken Potter, a veteran law enforcement officer. This is the enhanced gun permit training program. You will need to bring your weapon and 50 rounds of ammo and eye and ear protection, if you have it. We do offer loaner guns to use for the program. You may attend this class regardless of what county you live in. Also, you can go to dl.safety.tn.gov and fill out your application. Bring that paperwork to class with you.
