“Making America great again, one weld at a time.”
This is a slogan used by Jeff Burks, a new business owner in Elizabethton. Burks opened his business, Bulldog Bilt, LLC, four months ago in the area.
Burks’s work in welding includes steel fabrication, creating custom pieces for customers, repairs, etc. He explained among this work is entry gates, fire pits, trailers and more.
“I’ve got my main customers that I do trailers for, but I also take custom work,” he said. “I’ve got 20-25 years of welding experience.”
According to Burks, if you can think it, then he can build it.
He additionally provides free quotes and estimates. Burks is also licensed and registered with NHTSA.
Burks is originally from Henderson, Texas, and has been welding since he was 13 years old.
“It’s just something I’m good at. I picked up and learned. I’ve grown with it over the years,” he said.
