First Presbyterian
An online worship service will be held at 11 a.m. Sunday at First Presbyterian Church, Elizabethton.
The Rev. Dr. Brian Wyatt, pastor, will preach the sermon “From Dominion to Collaboration” based on Gen. 2: 4-9, 15-25,
Youth and Adult Forums, Wednesday Meditation, and Thursdays with Jesus will meet online this week.
All in-person events remain canceled until further notice.
Roan Street Free Will
Roan Street Free Will Baptist Church will have an in-car service in the fellowship hall parking lot Sunday at 10 a.m.
The speaker will be Minister Brett Jones. To listen, tune in to 89.7 FM.
Social distancing guidelines apply.
Everyone is invited.
New Liberty Free Will
Johnny Ensor and Wes Greer will be ordained as deacons Sunday during the 11 a.m. worship service at New Liberty Free Will Baptist Church.
The Rev. Nick Colbaugh, pastor, invites family and friends of the two men to attend in support of the occasion.
The service will be available via live streaming over the church website: http://www.nlfwbchurch.com for those who can’t attend and via radio on FM 93.3 from the church parking lot for indiividuals who choose to listen within their vehicles.
The church is following recommended CDC guidelines to help minimize impact of COVID-19.
First Christian
First Christian is currently making three services available during the COVID-19 pandemic.
An in-person worship service with social distancing will be held in the sanctuary at 9:45 a.m. Sunday.
Also, a live radio worship service will be held Sunday at 9:45 a.m. for those who wish to worship in their cars. To participate, park in the parking lot across from the police department on F Street and tune to 90.5 FM.
The church is also offering an HD quality online service via its Facebook page on Sunday evenings. If you would like a link to watch this service, call the church office at 542-5651 and it will be sent via email.
Michael Klaus, minister, invites the public to worship in one of these three services Sunday.
First Free Will
Greg Patton, host of Hello World Radio, who now pastors, will be guest speaker at the 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. worship services Sunday, Sept. 13, at First Free Will Baptist Church, Elizabethton.
Patton, a former news anchorman for one of the most watched news affiliates, presents the news from a conservative Christian point of view.
The Rev. Nathan Jennings, pastor, invites the public to attend.
