Covered Bridge Jams will feature Songs of the South

Songs of the South, a high-energy Alabama tribute band, featured at this week’s Covered Bridge Jams Music in the Park series.
The free weekly concerts take place each Saturday in August and extended through September at the Covered Bridge Park from 7 to 9 p.m., and has been sponsored by the Elizabethton STAR and WBEJ-Radio.
This week’s featured band is well-known around the Tri-Cities and beyond.
Participants are asked to bring their own lawn chairs or blankets as bleacher seating will not be available, as well as to socially distance six feet from anyone not inside their household. Wearing a mask is encouraged under Carter County’s recent COVID-19 mask directive.
