The Covered Bridge Jams, Elizabethton’s annual Saturday night Music in the Park series, will continue during the month of September with the exception of September 12 when the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life event will be held in the Covered Bridge Park.
Sponsored by the Elizabethton STAR and WBEJ Radio, this Saturday’s show will feature Ground Hollow, a Bluegrass and Gospel Band, whose members are from East Tennessee and Southwest Virginia. The band is always a favorite of Covered Bridge Jams audiences.
The music will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. in the park and is presented by the Elizabethton Parks and Recreation Dept.
Participants are asked to bring their own lawn chairs or blankets as bleacher seating will not be available. Those attending are asked to socially distance six feet from anyone not inside their household. Wearing a mask is encouraged under Carter County’s recent COVID-19 mask directive.
