Johnna Lynne Palmer Craig, 55, Elizabethton, passed away Sunday, September 13, 2020, at Johnson City Medical Center following an extended illness.
Johnna was born November 7, 1964 in Banner Elk, N.C. She was a 1983 graduate of Elizabethton High School.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Jonathan Palmer; an infant daughter, Keeley; her paternal grandparents, Bruce and Virginia Palmer; and her maternal grandparents, Robert and Florence Julian.
Survivors include her parents, Johnny and Mary Julian Palmer, and her biological daughter, Ashley Palmer, all of Elizabethton.
A memorial graveside service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Thursday, September 17, in the Johnson-Roan View Cemetery, Roan Mountain, with the Rev. Jim Perkins and the Rev. Dean Presnell officiating. Interment will follow the service. Pallbearers will be chosen from family and friends. Family and friends will assemble at the cemetery at 2:50 p.m. Thursday. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, everyone is required to wear a mask and practice social distancing. Friends may sign the register at the funeral home Wednesday afternoon or Thursday morning.
