Nina Jean Robinson Campbell, 80, of Oak Ridge, went peacefully into the arms of Christ on October 18, 2020, with her beloved daughter and son by her side.
She was born October 27, 1939 in Elizabethton, TN, the daughter of Blaine and Nora Pierce Robinson.
Nina was a long-time member of Central Baptist Church and the Christian Womens Club. 
She had a successful career as administrative assistant at Pathway Bellows and ORAU.
Nina was well-known and loved by her family, friends and community.  All who knew her sang her praises and enjoyed her friendship. as her life exemplified a genuine kindness and love of Christ.  She always had a twinkle in her eye when talking about her husband, children and grandchildren, and loved to share their stories with others.  Her heartfelt love was freely given and she made that known to all.
Nina was a true joy to be around, always offering a kind word, listening ear and Godly advice.  Nothing brought as much joy and happiness as being with her family in celebrating and honoring special occasions and events.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Billy Joe Campbell; son Billy Joe Campbell Jr. and wife Leslie of Kennesaw, GA; daughter Rita Elwood and husband Robert of Oak Ridge; sisters, Virginia Crowder of Nashville and Janese Wilson and husband Coy of Rome, OH; and 5 grandchildren, Reid, Rebecca and Rhett Elwood and Cameron and Parker Campbell.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 27, 2020 from 5:00 – 7:00 pm at Central Baptist Church.  The funeral will follow at 7:00 pm led by Pastor James R. Raffety.  Family and friends will meet on Wednesday, October 28, 2020 at 10:00 am at Oak Ridge Memorial Park for a graveside service.
Memorials in Nina’s memory can be made to Central Baptist Church of Oak Ridge or to the Oak Ridge Boys and Girls Club of Oak Ridge.
