Shirley Ann Blackburn, 70, Elizabethton, passed away Sunday, October 25, 2020, at Greeneville Community Hospital East after an extended illness.
A native of Carter County, she was a daughter of the late Dennis and Carolyne Brewer Blackburn.
Prior to her illness, she attended Bible Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Dolly Blackburn.
Survivors include her brother, John Blackburn, and several nieces and nephews.
A service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 28, in the Mausoleum of Hope at Happy Valley Memorial Park. The family would like to express a special “Thank You” to the staff of Greene County Skills for the excellent care and the many prayers she has received during her stay there. Family and friends will assemble at the Mausoleum of Hope at 10:50 a.m. Wednesday. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, everyone is required to wear a mask and practice social distancing.
