City of Elizabethton slates swearing-in ceremony

The City of Elizabethton has announced a date for the swearing in of new and re-elected officials after the recent November election.
A ceremony will take place on Tuesday, Nov. 24, at noon in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 136 S. Sycamore St., Elizabethton, with the Honorable Judge Stacy Street administering the Oaths of Office.
Those scheduled to be sworn in include three newly re-elected City Council members — Curt Alexander, Jeffrey C. Treadway and Kim Birchfield.
Also, Jason Holly will take the office of Elizabethton Municipal Judge while one newly re-elected and two newly-elected School Board members will also take their oaths at that time as Phil Isaacs, Michael L. Wilson and Jamie Bass Schaff will be sworn in.
