Three bound over to grand jury in shooting of Lillyhanna Davis:
Jason Bryan Barber, bound over to grand jury Jan. 8 on charges of offense of possessing a firearm or antique firearm during commission of a crime; reckless endangerment/aggravated assault (eight counts), murder first degree, criminal conspiracy; two counts of reckless endangerment and aggravated assault and aggravated assault. He is scheduled for a preliminary hearing Jan. 29.
Jediah Shane Glover, bound over to grand jury on Jan. 8 on charges of offense of possessing a firearm or antique firearm during commission of a crime; eight counts of reckless endangerment and aggravated assault, first-degree murder, and criminal conspiracy. Glover is also scheduled for a preliminary hearing Jan. 29 on two counts of reckless endangerment and aggravated assault and one count of aggravated assault
Zachary Scott Scalf, bound over to grand jury on Jan. 8 on charges of possessing a firearm or antique firearm during commission of a crime; eight counts of reckless endangerment/aggravated assault; first-degree murder, and criminal conspiracy
The charges against Barber, Glover, and Scalf are in connection with the death of 10-year-old Lillyhanna Davis. They are accused of involvement in a deadly shooting at 121 Blevins Road, in the pre-dawn hours of Nov. 17; more than 20 shots were reportedly fired into the home, with one of the rounds striking the girl in the head as she was sleeping on a couch.
She died a short time later at the Johnson City Medical Center.
They were also arraigned on charges stemming from a shooting on Swimming Pool Road in Hampton: the two counts of reckless endangerment/aggravated assault and one count of aggravated assault
JANUARY 11
Leah Vines Anderson, driving under the influence, $350 fine and court cost, 48 hours in jail; 30 days for violation of probation.
Stephen Shane Bateman, 20 days for violation of probation after being charged with harassment
Shandon Shanea Bennett, 10 days in jail for failure to appear on charges of shoplifting, criminal trespassing, failure to appear, and violations of conditions of community supervision
Melissa Ann Blevins, theft of property over $1,000, $50 fine and court cost
Charles Allen Jones, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, $150 fine and court cost; failure to comply with financial responsibility law, driving on a suspended license (second offense), $50 fine and court cost, two days in jail; four days for failure to appear; waiver of extradition on a charge of fugitive from justice
Steve E. Knox, 80 days for violation of probation
Jason Lee Nickles, 109 days for second violation of probation; public intoxication, $10 fine and court cost; evading arrest, $25 fine and court cost and six days in jail
Jullian Charles Smith, third violation of probation, 50 days
