Bernie Ruth Williams Feathers, 78, Elizabethton, passed away Thursday, January 28, 2021, at Hillview Health Center.
A native of Carter County, she was a daughter of the late Ralph Conley and Willie Paralee McGuire Williams.
Mrs. Feathers was a graduate of Unaka High School. She was a retired nurses aide at Asbury Center, Johnson City. She attended Pleasant Beach Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jeffory Dean Feathers, who passed away November 4, 2013.
Survivors include her children, Mitchell (Brenda) Waycaster, David (Kay) Waycaster and Tim Waycaster; her grandchildren, Tasha, Brandon (James), Jacob, Heather (Kevin), Tracy, Brandon and Emily; her great-grandchildren, Olivia and Jenson, Elizabeth and Victoria; one sister, Virginia Bynen; one stepbrother, Joe Lloyd Williams; and a special cousin, Linda (Michael) Grundler.
The family would like to express a Special Thanks to the staff of Hillview Health Center for taking such good care of her.
The family will receive friends from 3 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home with closing remarks by Danny Hilbert. She will be cremated.
