On Sunday, May 23, 2021, Erik Alan Potter, loving fiancé and father of two precious girls, passed away at the age of 42.  Erik was born on February 13, 1979, in Elizabethton, Tennessee to Linda Brewer and the late Richard Potter.  He worked at Snap-On Tools for almost eight years.

Erik was a Unaka graduate. He had a passion for his daughters, Erika and Savannah.  They meant the world to him.  He enjoyed being outdoors, spending time with friends and family.  He was a die-hard Unaka Softball and UT Vols fan.  He enjoyed special weekly rides to the lookout with his fiancé, Lauren, looking for wildlife.

If you knew Erik’s laugh, you would know it was him long before you saw him.  He lived life to the fullest and enjoyed cracking jokes and making people smile and laugh.
