Jr. Cyclones have great showing at TMSAA State Championships

The T.A. Dugger Jr. Cyclone track team left Clarksville by making an impression on those in attendance with their outstanding performances.

On the boys’ side, Jr. Cyclone Jeremiah Norris clocked a 16.82 in the 110m hurdles to narrowly defeat Liberty Bell’s James Powell who was on Norris’s heels with a 16.86 to claim the 2021 TMSAA State Championship in the event.

Norris wasn’t finished there either as he finished ninth in the 100 meters and 14th in the high jump for the Jr. Cyclones.

In the discus pit, Jr. Cyclone Brock Stewart tossed his way to a ninth-place finish.

Lily Hardin led the charge for the TAD girls as she claimed a fifth-place finish in the high jump field event.

Also, Liahna Nave worked hard in the discus event to walk away with a seventh-place finish.
