Nancy Belle (Smalling) Farr, was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, sister, and friend. After a full life of love and laughter, Nancy peacefully met Jesus surrounded by her family at the age of 88. Her life was a testimony to the faithfulness of Christ and her legacy will continue to impact those who knew and cherished her. 

Anyone who knew Nancy, knew that she could spend hours tending to her many plants and flowers making sure that each got optimum sunlight and the perfect amount of water. She enjoyed playing the piano, taking photos, and being outdoors. She was a member of Sims Hill Christian Church. Nancy was preceded in death by her loving husband Frederick Kenton Farr of 65 years. She is survived by Kenton Farr, his wife Susie; Debbie Reeser, her husband Ronnie; Karen Hodge, her husband Buster; Jeff Farr, his wife Cheryl; Becky Livingston, her husband Luther, 11 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild. Nancy’s legacy includes 47 immediate family members.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 7 p.m. Friday, June 25, 2021, in Memorial Funeral Chapel with her grandson Nick Farr, Minister officiating. Graveside Service and Interment will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 26, 2021, in Monte Vista Memorial Park with her son Kenton Farr officiating. Active Pallbearers will be grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The family would like to express a special “Thank You” to the staff of Ballad Home Health Care and the therapists. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. prior to the service.  Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home at 9:15 a.m. Saturday to go to the cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, you may donate to the Sims Hill Christian Church Youth Program.
