Union Baptist
Vacation Bible School will be held at Union Baptist Church July 11-16 for pre-school to youth. Classes will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. each day.
Also, an adult class will be held from 7 to 8 p.m.
The church is located at 1411 Highway 321, Hampton.
The Rev. James Bentley is pastor.

First Christian
First Christian Church, Elizabethton, will have an in-house service Sunday at 9:45 a.m. as well as a live radio broadcast on 90.5 FM in the church parking lot. Bible school will follow for all age groups.
The worship service will be posted to Facebook at 8 p.m. Sunday.
Also, weekly Bible studies are offered at 6 p.m. Wednesday in the fellowship hall. The video series “Drive thru Gospels with Dave Stotts” is being taught.
The public is invited.

Borderview Christian
Borderview Christian Church, 1338 Bristol Highway, will celebrate God and Country Day Sunday, July 4, at the 10:45 a.m. service of patriotic music focusing on the God that blesses the USA.
The adult choir will sing and veterans will be recognized with a special gift. Scott Fisher, minister, will present a message using God and Country as his theme.
There is no community block party planned this year, but plans are already in the works for next year’s celebration.
The church’s new youth director is Sallie Biles.

Range Christian
Is Jesus Really God? Is Jesus Eternal? What kind of Relationship did Jesus have with the Father before He became man?
“Focused on Jesus” is the theme of the new series of sermons that Ken Overdorf, the new teaching minister of Range Christian Church, will present beginning Sunday at the 10 a.m. service. He will be discussing some of the questions listed above.
The Sunday evening sermons will explore the New Testament church Christ established as revealed in the book of Ephesians. The evening service will begin at 6 o’clock.
On Wednesday evening at 7 o’clock, there will be a study of the birth and expansion of Christ’s church as recorded in the book of Acts.
Everyone is invited to services at Range Christian, located at 175 Hart Road.

Roan Street Free Will
Roan Street Free Will Baptist Church will have in-church services Sunday, July 4, with Sunday School at 10 a.m. and morning worship at 11 a.m.
Donnie Harris will present the message.
Everyone is asked to wear a mask upon entering and exiting the building and follow social distancing guidelines.
The public is invited.

Chinquapin Grove Baptist
The public is invited to attend a July Fourth celebration Sunday at 7 p.m. at Chinquapin Grove Baptist Church, Bluff City. There will be preaching, singing, food and fireworks.
Those attending are asked to bring their favorite finger food.
Shuttle service will be provided to and from the church. The church is located at 1489 Walnut Grove Road.

First Presbyterian
First Presbyterian Church, Elizabethton, will have an online worship service at 11 a.m. Sunday.
The pastor, Dr. Brian Wyatt, will present a sermon titled “The Myth of Redemptive Violence” based on Psalm 27.
Youth and adult forums, Wednesday Meditation, and Thursdays With Jesus will meet online this week.
