After experiencing the pandemic of 2020 to 2021, Gertrude Bishop is celebrating her 104th birthday on Wednesday, July 7, 2021.
Her family is planning to mark the event with a Meet and Greet party on Saturday, July 10, from 2 until 5 p.m., at the home of Eddie and Donna Smith, 508 First Street in Hampton.
Family, friends and former students are invited to join the family to honor Mrs. Bishop. 
As shown, she is enjoying activities such as feeding the ducks and visiting with friends again.
No gifts please, but cards are enjoyed.
