Randy Darrell Pierce, 74, of Butler, Tenn., went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 1, 2021, at his residence. Randy was born in Carter County to the late Woodrow and Edith Timbs Pierce.
Those left to cherish his memory include his only son, John David Pierce; his grandson, Cody John Pierce (Amanda); Cody’s loving mother, Robin Hicks; mother of his only son, John, Paulette Nichols; brothers, Larry, Hugh and Ted Pierce; and special caring best friend, Lester White. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Randy loved spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandson, Cody.
The family would like to thank everyone for their thoughts, prayers, visits, cards and flowers during Randy’s illness. In keeping with Randy’s wishes, he will be cremated with no formal services at this time. His remains will be scattered during a Celebration of Life service at a later date.
