What a weekend… Music, dancing, and taking to the water highlight July 4th weekend

Music filled the air in the evenings much to the delight of concert-goers who enjoyed the entertainment and danced the night away while others found comfort in the waters of the Watauga River or Watauga Lake as hundreds took advantage of celebrating another Independence Day after seeing the 2020 celebrations snuffed due to COVID.
And to put a wrap on the weekend, many enjoyed fireworks as evidenced by the photo submitted by Drew Parsons, who captured an amazing volley of fireworks behind an American flag.
Ivan Sanders was busy throughout the county capturing folks cooling down, dancing to a tune, or many other events that were happening in the community.
