Pauline Delph, 93, of Bluff City, Tenn., passed away on Sunday, July 18, 2021. She was the daughter of the late Curtis Miracle and Betsy Ann Hoskins Miracle. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Delph; brothers, Lester Miracle and Robert Miracle; and sisters, Opal Collett and Barbara McGeorge.
Those left to cherish her memories include six daughters, Dorothy Hopson (L.C.) of Bluff City, Faye McCoy of Hampton, Kathy Carr of Hampton, Janie Phillips of Hampton, Donna Phillips of Johnson City, and Ann Reynolds of Fredericksburg, Va.; three sons, Jessie Delph of Hampton, Curtis Delph of Rock Hill, S.C., and Daniel Delph of Johnson City; three sisters, Shirley Brock (Tom) of Kentucky, Ima Jean Cheek of North Carolina, and Willie Jean Saylor of Kentucky. Thirty-five grandchildren and several great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive.
A service to celebrate the life of Pauline Delph will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 20, at Tetrick Funeral Home, Elizabethton, Riverside Chapel, with Pastor Dustin Morris officiating. The family will receive friends from noon until 1 p.m., prior to the service. The graveside service and interment will be conducted at 3 p.m. Tuesday, July 20, at the Maple Lawn Cemetery (Jonesborough). Active pallbearers will be grandsons.
