Stephanie Humphrey, 53, of Hampton, Tenn., got her angel wings August 13, 2021 after battling a long illness.
She was of the Baptist faith, born and lived most of her life in Carter County, and she was a wonderful caregiver to her mother and others around. She loved her flowers and spending time with her family.
Stephanie was preceeded in death by her father, Steve Humphrey; nephews, Alan Carr and A J Humphrey; and niece, Nikki Llyod.
Those left to cherish her memory are her mother, Sandra Roberts; sisters and brothers, Teresa and Steve Shipley, Alfred and Tonya Humphrey, Roy and Apryl Humphrey, and Dewayne and Amanda Humphrey; daughters, son and grandkids, Alesha, Chris and Corbin Shumate, Katrina, Issac and Raelynn Sheppard and son, Derrick Sheppard; as well as many nephews and nieces.
A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, August 15, at Memorial Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends from 1:30 p.m. until the service hour. The family would like to express special thanks to everyone who has taken time to pray over the years. We have felt them and greatly appreciate it.
