Denise Blevins, 68, of Elizabethton, Tenn., went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 26, 2021, at Life Care Center of Elizabethton. She was the daughter of the late Luther Bowers and Bonnie Meyers. Denise was a sweet and funny person who loved to make people laugh. She enjoyed working puzzles, reading, watching movies and collecting Coca-Cola polar bears. Denise was of the Christian faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Randall Blevins.
Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Gary Bowers (Kevin) of Texas, Misty Nickels (Arthur) of Elizabethton and Randall Blevins of Elizabethton; siblings, Lynn Bowers, Terri Scott, Sherri Graybeal and Chris Bowers; one great-grandchild, Dixie Canter; and several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A graveside service to honor the life of Denise Blevins will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, September 1, in the Garland Cemetery, Erwin, Tenn.
