First Christian
An in-person worship service will be held Sunday at 9:45 a.m. There will also be a live radio service on 90.5 AM Sunday in the church parking lot at the same time of the worship service. The worship service will be posted to Facebook at 8 p.m. Sunday.
Following the worship service, Bible School will follow for all age groups.
Weekly Bible Study will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday in the fellowship hall. Currently, the group is studying the series titled “Twelve Ordinary Men” by John MacArthur. A new teaching series based on the book “We Speak” will begin Sept. 12.
The public is invited.

Borderview Christian
Borderview Christian Church, 1338 Bristol Highway, will host a gospel concert featuring Sacred Harmony Sunday at 6 p.m. The group is composed of Janet Weaver, Brian Scott, and Theresa Bellamy.
The outdoor concert under the tent will allow safer social-distancing, while Borderview continues its month-long anniversary celebration. The church had its local beginning in 1871 in the community school house. A church was later built in 1893, and moved to its current location in 1942.
Everyone is invited to attend. Social distancing and masking are encouraged.
Scott Fisher is the senior minister and Sallie Biles is the youth director.

Morgan Chapel
Chris Dotson, Director of Tennessee Association of Free Will Baptists, will speak Sunday at 11 a.m. at Morgan Chapel Free Will Baptist Church.
The church is located at 1782 Ripshin Mountain Road.
The public is invited.

First Presbyterian
First Presbyterian Church, 119 W. F St., Elizabethton, plans both an outdoor and online service for Sunday worship at 11 a.m.
The pastor, the Rev. Dr. Brian Wyatt, will preach the sermon “Who Do You Say That I Am?” based on Mark 8: 27-38.
Youth and Adult Forums, Wednesday Meditation, and Thursdays with Jesus will meet online this week.

Range Christian
Range Community Christian Church will observe homecoming Sunday, with the service beginning at 9:30 a.m. with praise and worship. Sunday School will follow at 10:45 a.m. followed by a homecoming meal at 12 noon.
Special music will be presented by Asia Holsclaw, Lori Decker, Tonya Milam, Tracy Pierson, and Debbie Miller.
Ken Overdorf will preach the sermon “The Prodigal’s Homecoming.”
Everyone is invited to all of the homecoming activities.

Roan Street Free Will
Roan Street Free Will Baptist Church will meet inside Sunday with Sunday School at 10 a.m. and worship at 11 a.m.
The message will be presented by Donnie Harris.
The Wednesday night service is at 7 p.m.
Masks are required upon entering and exiting the building.
