The Elizabethton sports team tries to do its best to provide accurate coverage of all events that we cover however we realize there are times that we make mistakes and when those are made, we want to do our best to correct those.

In a recent article covering the T.A. Dugger Jr. Lady Cyclone soccer team, it has been brought to our attention of discrepancies in the scoring of the match.

The article should have reflected that in their game against Chuckey-Doak played on Tuesday, September 14, 2021, that Maddox Morton had recorded a hat trick with three goals, Camdyn Garland connected for a hat trick with three goals, and Rylee May recorded two goals in the 8-0 Jr. Lady Cyclone victory.

We regret the inaccurate report and apologize to the players and families of these young ladies.
