The Elizabethton Star weekly recognizes the Player of the Week from the previous week’s games. The Week Four standouts are as follows:
Elizabethton High School
Nate Stephens
In last weeks road win at Grainger, Nate Stephens stepped up as another weapon for the Cyclones as the junior caught two touchdown passes covering 68 yards in the Cyclones 56-0 win.
Hampton High School
Chance Point
In Hampton’s win over cross-county rival Happy Valley, Chance Point was on the receiving end of a 25 and 45-yard touchdown reception in the Bulldogs 48-0 win over the Warriors.
Unaka High School
Jamol Blamo & Devin Ramsey
The dynamic duo of Jamol Blamo and Devin Ramsey led the Rangers to a huge win that tied the record for most points scored in a contest that has stood since 2000 as the Rangers won 62-20. Blamo rushed for 230 yards and four touchdowns while Ramsey had three scores in different phases of the game and added two two-point conversions.
