First Presbyterian
First Presbyterian Church, 119 West F St., will have an online worship service Sunday at 11 a.m. The pastor, the Rev. Dr. Brian Wyatt will present the sermon “The Maverick Exorcist” based on Mark 9: 38-50.
Youth and Adult Forums, Wednesday Meditation, and Thursdays With Jesus will meet online this week.

New Liberty Free Will
The New Liberty Revival Choir will be in charge of the Sunday morning worship service at 11 a.m. at the New Liberty Free Will Baptist Church.
The pastor, the Rev. Nick Colbaugh invites everyone to attend and enjoy the uplifting gospel music, the choir presents.
The church is located at 113 Peters Hollow Road near the Stoney Creek Volunteer Fire Dept.

Watauga Valley Free Will
Watauga Valley Free Will Baptist Church will celebrate homecoming Sunday. Sunday School will begin at 10 a.m. and the worship service at 11 a.m.
The Joyrides will perform at the worship service. From Harriman, Tn, the Joyrides is composed of husband and wife, Ernie and Debbie Peters, whose real passion is singing in old-time camp meetings and church jubilees although they sing concerts, conventions, and anywhere a door is opened.
Following the service, lunch will be served in the fellowship hall.
The pastor, the Rev. Bill Greer invites the public to attend.
Watauga Valley is located on Highway 91 just above Unaka High School.

Grace Baptist
Grace Baptist Church will have a booth at Covered Bridge Days this weekend. The booth will be located at the corner of E. Elk Avenue and Academy St. in front of the Best Portraits building.

Doe River Baptist
Doe River Baptist Church, 113 Avon St., will have a food pantry Wednesday, Sept. 29, at 6 p.m. Families in need are invited to participate.

Union Hill Free Will
The Bledsoes from Dobson, N.C., will be in concert Sunday at the evening service at Union Hill Free Will Baptist Church, 125 Lane Hill Road.

St. Elizabeth Catholic
The Ladies Guild of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church will have its annual Christmas Craft Sale Saturday, Oct. 9 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The sale will feature many new items this year. All items are handmade.
There will be a no bake sale this year and masks are required.
The church is located at 510 West C St.

First Free Will
Homecoming will be celebrated Sunday, Oct. 3, at 10:30 a.m. at First Free Will Baptist Church, 706 First St. Featured will be Phillips & Banks.
A meal will be served following the service.
Revival is scheduled at First Free Will Baptist Church, Elizabethton, Sunday, Oct. 3 at 6 p.m. and Oct 4-7 at 7 p.m.
Guest speakers will include Pastors David Montgomery, Mark Street, Sonny Thomas, Nick Colbaugh, and Jeff Duncan.
Special music will be presented by the Edwards Family Sunday; Chosen Generation, Monday; Simply Us Band, Tuesday; New Liberty Revival Choir, Wednesday; and the Duncan Family, Thursday.
The Rev. Nathan Jennings is pastor.

Carter Christian
Carter Christian Church, 1765 Highway 91, Stoney Creek, will celebrate homecoming and their 86th anniversary Sunday, Sept. 26, beginning at 10:30 a.m. 
There will not be any Sunday School classes that day.
David Clark, former pastor and presently minister at Boones Creek Christian Church in Johnson City will be the guest speaker.
Following the worship service, there will be a covered dish dinner.
