A new haunted house attraction is coming to the area in the month of October.
Nightmares of Bristol opens on October 1 at Off the Grid on Highway 19E.
“We had been looking for a place to set up shop, and we stumbled upon the Off the Grid location,” said Daniel Huffman. “We have been doing this kind of work involving haunted attractions for years for other people, and we wanted to try it out on our own.”
The attraction opens this weekend with a meet-and-greet for the public featuring Gray native and winner of Moonshiners: Master Distiller Travis Shipley. The meet-and-greet is from 7 to 10 p.m. both Friday and Saturday.
“All of us love this type of thing as well as this time of year, and we hope that we kick things off with a great start,” Huffman said.
The haunted house will be open on Friday and Saturday nights throughout October. Children ages 3 and under are free; ages 4-11 are $8; and tickets for guests 12 and older are $15.
