Roan Street Free Will
Roan Street Free Will Baptist Church will have an in-house service Sunday with Sunday School at 10 a.m. and the worship service at 11 a.m.
The message will be presented by the Rev. Donnie Harris.
The Wednesday service is at 7 p.m.
Masks are required when entering and exiting the building.
Everyone is invited.
Lynn Valley Baptist
Lynn Valley Baptist will have its clothes closet Saturday (today) from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Clothing, which is for all ages, will be given free to all those in need and who attend.
The public is invited.
St. Elizabeth Catholic
The Ladies Guild of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church will have its annual Christmas Craft Sale Saturday, Oct. 9, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
There will be many new items this year, all of which are homemade. There will be no bake sale this year, and face masks are required.
The church is located at 510 West C St.
First Presbyterian
First Presbyterian Church, Elizabethton, will have worship on the lawn as well as an online service Sunday at 11 a.m.
The Rev. Dr. Brian Wyatt, pastor, will present the sermon “Gracious Living” based on II Corinthians 8: 1-15.
Youth and Adult Forums, Wednesday Meditation, and Thursdays with Jesus will all meet online this week.
First Presbyterian is located at 119 W. F St.
First Christian
First Christian Church, Elizabethton, will have an in-person worship service at 9:45 a.m. Sunday as well as a live radio service on 90.5 FM at the same time in the church parking lot.
The morning worship service will be posted to Facebook at 8 p.m. Sunday.
The church also offers weekly Bible studies on Wednesday at 6 p.m. in the fellowship hall. Currently, the adult study is a series titled “Twelve Ordinary Men” by John MacArthur.
Everyone is invited.
New Liberty Free Will
The Edwards Family will present special singing Sunday for homecoming services at New Liberty Free Will Baptist Church. The service will begin at 10:45 a.m.
The Rev. Nick Colbaugh, pastor, invites the public to attend this special service.
The church is located at 113 Peters Hollow Road in the Stoney Creek community near the Stoney Creek Volunteer Fire Department.
Casi Full Gospel
Casi Full Gospel Church, located at 370 Cassi Road, Chuckey, will have its 43rd Annual Song Revival Oct. 4-8 at 7 p.m. each evening.
The schedule is as follows: Monday, the Inspirations; Tuesday, the Chuck Wagon Gang; Wednesday, Gold City; Thursday, Old Time Preachers Quartet; and Friday, Jeff and Sheri Easter.
A free will offering will be received each evening.
Cassi Road is located just off Highway 107.
All are invited.
First Free Will
Homecoming will be celebrated Sunday, Oct. 3, at 10:30 a.m. at First Free Will Baptist Church, 706 First St. Featured will be the singing group, Phillips & Banks.
A meal will be served following the service.
Revival is scheduled at the church, beginning Sunday, Oct. 3, at 6 p.m. and continuing Oct. 4-7 at 7 p.m.
Guest speakers will include Pastors David Montgomery, Mark Street, Sonny Thomas, Nick Colbaugh, and Jeff Duncan.
Special music will be presented Sunday by the Edwards Family; Monday, Chosen Generation; Tuesday, Simply Us Band; Wednesday, New Liberty Revival Choir; and Thursday, the Duncan Family.
The Rev. Nathan Jennings is pastor and invites everyone to attend.
