The 18th Annual Rotary Charlie Robinson Memorial Golf Tournament was held on September 17 at the Elizabethton Golf Course. Capturing First Place in the First Flight is the team of BCS Wealth Management (L-R: Nathan Goodwin, Cory Richardson, and Ryan Bowman. Jason Holly is not pictured). The First Flight Second Place Team was Carter County Bank. Capturing First Place in the Second Flight was the Preston Construction Team with Sam LaPorte’s Team finishing as the Second Flight Runner-Up. Over $11,000 was raised from this tournament which will be used to furnish scholarship aid to qualifying Carter County students attending ETSU, Northeast State, and the Tennessee College of Applied Technology. Also, several local non-profit organizations will benefit from these funds plus contributions to the Rotary Foundation will be used to promote worldwide peace and provide assistance with health, education, environmental protection, and disaster relief.
