George William Lucier Jr., 86, of Elizabethton, Tenn., went home to be with the Lord and his wife on Thursday, September 23, 2021, at the James H. Quillen VA Medical Center. George was born in Michigan to the late George William Lucier Sr. and Mae Eleanor Lucier. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Kathleen “Kitty” Lucier, and his daughter, Brenda Lucier.
George was a furniture store owner and operator and was a proud United States Army veteran, having served during the Vietnam War and later he served his country in the National Guard. George was of the Baptist faith and was a friend to everyone who knew him. He loved to garden.
George is survived by his son, Mark Lucier, of Marquette, Mich., and several friends and extended family.
