FROM STAFF REPORTS
The Elizabethton Lady Cyclone season is beginning its final descent in the regular season as the postseason tournament is just around the corner for Coach Bill McClays team.

This week the Lady Cyclones played host to Greeneville and West Ridge on the pitch and while their conference game against Greeneville didn’t turn out the way they had hoped in dropping an 8-1 decision, the Lady Cyclones managed to regroup and shutout out West Ridge on Thursday evening by a 3-0 score at Citizens Bank Stadium.

In Thursday’s game, Mollie Johnson recorded a goal and Kaiya Simmons had a pair of goals in the win. Johnson also collected a pair of assists and Morgan Heaton added one assist in the contest.
