The Elizabethton Star weekly recognizes the Player of the Week from the previous week’s games. The Week Nine standouts are as follows:

Elizabethton High School
Bryson Rollins
In the Cyclones 49-12 win over Volunteer,  Rollins carried the ball 15 times for 104 yards and two scores while adding 212 yards and three scores on an 8-of-13 passing night.
Jake Roberts
Roberts was the go-to receiver for Rollins as he collected four catches for 180 yards and two scores for the Cyclones in their win over Volunteer.
Cade Russell
Russell was in beast mode from the running back slot for Elizabethton as the junior carried 27 times for 161 yards and two scores in the Cyclones win over Volunteer.

Cloudland High School
Seth Birchfield
Birchfield was lighting up the stats column against Happy Valley as the senior Highlander recorded six touchdowns while racking up an unofficial rushing mark of 311 yards on the night.

Unaka High School
Landon Ramsey
The junior signal-caller had another big night for Unaka as he completed 13-of-21 passes for 301 yards and two scores in a 54-12 win over Cosby.
Devin Ramsey
Once again, Ramsey was the top target of his brother as Devin had 11 receptions for 237 yards and two scores.

Happy Valley
Andrew Little
Little had a 64-yard touchdown reception and a 60-yard kickoff return in the Warriors loss to Cloudland.
Blake Garmon
Garmon was on the receiving end of a 41-yard scoring strike against Cloudland.

Hampton
Brody Hicks
Hicks had three scores in the Hampton Bulldogs win over Cumberland Gap including a thrilling kickoff return for a touchdown to open the second half.
