Margaret J. Kyte, 73, of Elizabethton, Tenn., went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 17, 2021. Margaret was born in Rockwood, Tenn., to the late Lester Danniel and Mary Cunningham Danniel. In addition to her parents, Margaret was preceded in death by a son, Johnny Kyte, and a brother, Richard Danniel.
Margaret was a very kind, loving and wonderful wife and mother of her three beautiful children. She was of the Methodist faith and was a homemaker who loved her animals and her friends.
Those left to cherish Margaret’s memory include her husband, Clay Kyte Jr.; her son, Bobby Kyte and fiancée Alyce Whaley and Alyce’s grandson, Skyler Garrett; her daughter, Jeannette Kyte; a special granddaughter, Serena Hawkins; and her sister, Barbara Jones and husband Lloyd. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
A graveside service to celebrate the life of Margaret J. Kyte will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, October 25, at Mountain Home National Cemetery (New Annex), 215 Heroes Drive, Mountain Home, Tenn. Those wishing to attend the service are asked to meet at the cemetery at 1:50 p.m. Monday. Those who prefer memorials in lieu of flowers may make donations to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 in honor of Margaret.
