Roan Street Free Will
Roan Street Free Will Baptist Church will have in-house services Sunday with Sunday School at 10 a.m. and the worship service at 11 a.m. Pastor Donnie Harris will present the message.
Everyone is required to wear a mask upon entering and exiting the building.
Wednesday night services are at 7 p.m.
Everyone is invited.
First Presbyterian
First Presbyterian Church Elizabethton will have an online service Sunday at 11 a.m. with the pastor, Dr. Brian Wyatt, preaching. His message will be based on Mark 12: 38-44.
Youth and Adult Forums, Wednesday Meditation and Thursdays With Jesus will meet online this week.
New Liberty Free Will
Military veterans and spouses of deceased veterans will be honored and recognized during the 11 a.m. worship service Sunday at New Liberty Free Will Baptist Church. The recognition service will be preceded with patriotic music provided by Joy Shoun, Kennedy Forelock, Wes and Mandy Greer, and a flute solo by Hannah Monroe.
Veteran Curtis Huskins will provide a historical summary of veterans’ sacrifices and share the origin of the Veterans Day holiday.
The pastor, the Rev. Nick Colbaugh, invites everyone to attend.
The church is located at 113 Peters Hollow Road near the Stoney Creek Volunteer Fire Dept.
First Christian
An in-person worship service will be held at 9:45 a.m. Sunday at First Christian Church, Elizabethton. Also, there will be a live radio service on 90.5 FM at the same time in the church parking lot. The morning worship service will be posted to Facebook at 8 p.m. Sunday.
The weekly Bible study will be held Wednesday at 6 p.m. The current study is a series titled “Twelve Ordinary Men” by John MacArthur.
The church is celebrating its 130th anniversary. After Sunday morning worship, sweets and beverages will be served.
