The Elizabethton Star weekly recognizes the Player of the Week from the previous week’s games. The Week 12 standouts are as follows:
Cloudland
Seth Birchfield
Cloudland senior running back Seth Birchfield continues to pile on the numbers during his senior season as he racked up 189 yards and five touchdowns in the Highlanders 42-24 win over Greenback in the first round of the TSSAA Class 1-A playoffs.

Elizabethton
Bryson Rollins
The Cyclone senior signal-caller had a hand in five of the Elizabethton scores against the Carter Hornets in the opening round of the Class 4-A playoffs. Rollins scored on runs of six, seven, 38, and 10 yards while tossing a five-yard scoring pass to Jake Roberts in the Cyclones 47-14 win.

Hampton
Conor Jones
Hampton senior quarterback Conor Jones accounted for all three of the Bulldogs scores in Hampton’s opening Class 2-A, 21-0 win over Monterey.

In the Rangers heartbreaking loss to Midway, the senior wide receiver caught two scoring passes of 50 and 89 yards in Unaka’s defeat.
