Doe River
Doe River Baptist Church Food Pantry will be open Wednesday, Nov. 17, at 6 p.m.
The church is having the food pantry early this month because of Thanksgiving.
The church is located at 113 Avon St., Elizabethton.
Unaka Baptist
Unaka Baptist Church will have its Brotherhood Breakfast Saturday, Nov. 13, from 7 to 10 a.m.
Services Sunday will include Sunday Bible Study at 9:45 a.m. followed by the worship service at 10:45 a.m. The evening worship service is at 6 p.m.
The Wednesday evening service is at 7 p.m.
The Rev. Troy Davis is pastor.
Roan Street Free Will
Roan Street Free Will Baptist Church will have an inside service Nov. 14 with Sunday School at 10 a.m. followed by morning worship at 11 a.m. Pastor Donnie Harris will preach.
The Wednesday night service is at 7 p.m.
Everyone is asked to wear a mask upon entering and exiting the building.
The public is invited.
First Presbyterian
First Presbyterian Church, 119 W. F St., will have an online worship service Sunday at 11 a.m. The pastor, the Rev. Dr. Brian Wyatt, will preach. His sermon text will be Amos 1: 1-2; 5: 14-15, 21-24.
Youth and Adult Forums, Wednesday Meditation, and Thursdays with Jesus will meet online this week.
First Christian
First Christian Church, Elizabethton, will have an in-person worship service at 9:45 a.m. Sunday and a live radio broadcast on 90.5 FM at 9:45 a.m. in the church parking lot. The morning service will be posted to Facebook at 8 p.m. Sunday.
The church is celebrating its 130th anniversary, and as part of the anniversary observance, Heritage, a vocal group from Milligan University, will lead morning worship.
The church also has a weekly Bible study Wednesday at 6 p.m.
CCCMF Meeting
The Carter County Christian Men’s Fellowship will meet Tuesday, Nov. 16, at 7 p.m. at Central Christian Church, 136 Hopson Road.
The guest speaker will be David Clark, minister at Boones Creek Christian Church. The Washington County Christian Men’s Fellowship will be special guests at the service.
“Bring a friend and come to worship,” said a spokesman for the group.
Calvary Baptist
Calvary Baptist Church, Holly Lane, will begin Advent at the morning service on Nov. 28. The children will have a Christmas Craft and Treats at 2 p.m. that day.
