Jr. ‘Dogs sweep pair over Hunter

The Hampton Middle Jr. Bulldogs kept up their winning ways by sweeping varsity and junior varsity action over Hunter.

In varsity play, the Jr. ‘Dogs took a 46-34 victory.

Three Hampton players hit double figures in the win led by 17 from Caden Davis. Talon Creed pitched in with 11 points and Thomas Shepherd contributed with 10 points for Coach Leon Tolley’s team.

Jamie Turbyfill and Ezra Tolley closed out the scoring for the Jr.’Dogs by scoring six and two points respectively.

Hunter was paced by Taylor’s 10 points followed by Good with nine. Crabtree and Vines added five points apiece for the Tigers, Coller added three, and Smith netted two points.

The Jr. ‘Dogs JV followed suit by taking a 41-12 victory.

Talon Creed led the winners with 14 points while Hunter Roberts also reached double figures with 10.

Cameron Nave contributed with seven points with Kaden Jones pumped in four points.

Two points each were scored by James Morgan, Gage Reid, and Dylan Campbell.

Russe led Hunter with six points in the game followed by Harding, Tanner, and Fuller by two points apiece.
