The Waters of Roan Highlands Ladies Red Hat Society wanted to do something good for the Roan Mountain community and they decided to hold a food drive. Thanks to the residents and staff, they were able to provide three families with food boxes for Thanksgiving. The ladies worked hard Monday sorting and putting the food into boxes with a note of love to be delivered to the families. “They were very proud of their work,” said Rebecca Birchfield, Activity Director at the Waters of Roan Highlands. Both the Red Hat Ladies Society and the staff at Roan Highlands wish everyone a Happy Holiday.
