Christina Marie Mobley, 45, Elizabethton, went to be with the Lord on November 6, 2021, surrounded by her loved ones at Johnson City Medical Center after a long battle with health issues. She was a native of Nashville, Tenn., but resided in Elizabethton, Tenn.
Christina loved spending time with her family and friends, reading the Bible and always praying.
Those left to cherish her memories are her two children, Taylor Metcalf and Mckenzie Mobley; mother, Brenda Mobley; longtime boyfriend, Ryan Armstrong; aunt and uncle, Debbie and Ricky Smith; cousins, Jesse and Cody Smith; three brothers, Justin, Dallas and Dusty Mobley; and many other close relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Bonnie Brewer, and brother, Bobby Mobley.
As this came as a tragedy, we know that she rests with the Lord and is no longer in any pain or suffering.
The family would like to give a special thanks to everyone that has offered help, support and donations through these trying times and to all of the hospital staff at JCMC.
The service will be held on Monday, November 29, at Lynn Valley Baptist Church in Elizabethton. Visitation is at 6 p.m. with the closing service at 7 p.m.
