Jr. Cyclones sweep past East Middle boys

The T.A. Dugger Jr. High boys basketball team hit the road to Bluff City on Monday to square off with the Sullivan East Middle Jr. Patriots in round ball action.
It was a successful trip as the Jr. Cyclones took wins in both JV and Varsity play.

Colby Blevins continued his hot offensively play in the early season as the Jr. Cyclone poured in 16 points to pace TAD to the 10-point victory.
Jackson Buckles also had a stellar game as he collected 13 points while cleaning the glass for 10 rebounds to finish the contest with a double-double.
Justin Whitehead added six points while dishing out a pair of assists and Isaiah Adams finished with five points.
Other TAD players that contributed in the win include: Jaiden Wallen and Rhett Slagle who matched each other’s play with four points and four rebounds each.
Kaden Gouge scored two points while handing out eight assists and four rebounds. Justius Wallin pulled down 13 boards while adding a deuce in the scoring column.
Nathan Bailey and Jabriel Fain added four and three rebounds respectively.

Brycen Blevins and Cayson Blair knocked down nine points apiece to lead the Jr. Cyclone JV to a 19-point win over East Middle.
Evan Chambers and Isaiah Adams also had a big game as they contributed with eight points each.
Braylon Britt (7), Austin Stines (6), and Caleb Waters (5) closed out the scoring for the Jr. Cyclones.
