Blue Springs Christian
Blue Springs Christian Church will have a live nativity scene Dec. 17 and 18 from 6 to 9 p.m.
Also, a candlelight Christmas service will be held Wednesday, Dec. 22, at 7 p.m.
The church is located at 107 Rominger Road on Stoney Creek.

Willow Springs
The adult choir of Willow Springs Baptist Church will present the cantata “What Christmas Really Means” at the 11 a.m. worship service on Dec. 12.
A children’s program will be presented at the 6 p.m. worship service.
The church is located at 544 Willow Springs Road.
Everyone is invited.

New Liberty Free Will
New Liberty Free Will Baptist Church will continue the celebration of Christ’s birth with Kennedy Forelock, Joy Shoun and Vickie Greer providing Christmas musical selections at the 11 a.m. worship service. The music will be followed by a Christmas program presented by the New Liberty Kids.
At the 6 p.m. worship service, the New Liberty Revival Choir will present a concert of Christmas favorites.
Pastor Nick Colbaugh invites everyone to join in the celebration of Christmas during this Christmas season.
In addition to the in-person service, the service will be live streamed at www.nlfwbchurch.com and via 93.3 FM radio for vehicles parked at the church.

Borderview Christian
Borderview Christian Church, 1338 Bristol Highway, will host a Christmas piano concert Sunday, Dec. 12, at 4 p.m. Scott Reynolds, long-time musician at Borderview, will play a variety of classic carol arrangements, often with assistance of fellow instrumentalists from Borderview. This musician’s friends include Cyndie Leimbach, Abigail Steele, Ryan Eggers, Raymond Morton, Scott Fisher and Tony Romancer.
There will also be video clips to accompany several of the carols.
This is the first formal concert on the new Yamaha C# grand piano purchased this past summer.
The public is invited to attend. There is no charge, but a Christmas love offering for ARM, local food pantry, will be received.
The church’s staff include Scott Fisher, senior minister, and Sallie Biles, youth director.

Grace Baptist
The sanctuary choir of Grace Baptist Church will present the musical “I Call Him Lord” at the 9 a.m. worship service Sunday.
The pre-school and children’s choir will present “The Light Has Come” at the 6 p.m. service Sunday, Dec. 19.
The Wednesday Bible Study and New Generation Ministry will go Christmas caroling Dec. 22 at 6:15 p.m.
A Christmas Eve Candlelight Service will be held at 5 p.m. Dec. 24. The service will feature carols, candlelight, the Lord’s Supper, and a sermon. The public is invited.

Hampton First
Hampton First Baptist Church will have a live nativity scene Dec. 11 and 12 from 6 to 7 p.m.
The Rev. Norman Markland is pastor.

Siam Baptist
The Children’s Choir of Siam Baptist Church will present “Good News Ahead..the Signs of Christmas!” at the 6 p.m. worship service Dec.12.
The church choir will present a cantata at the 11 a.m. service Dec.12.
Christmas Eve Communion will be celebrated at 5 p.m. Dec. 24.

Big Springs Church of Christ
Joe Crisp will present special music at the 10 a.m. worship service Dec. 12 at Big Springs Church of Christ.
Also, Scott Reynolds will present a Christmas piano concert Dec. 19 at 6 p.m.
The publc is invited to attend and be a part of the Christmas services.

First United Methodist
The Christmas cantata “Everlasting Light: The Promise of Christmas” will be presented at First United Methodist Church, Elizabethton, Sunday, Dec. 19.
The cantata will be presented at 10 a.m.
A Christmas Eve service is planned for 5 p.m. Dec. 24.
The Rev. Ray Amos is pastor.
The public is invited.

Long Hollow Baptist
Southern Harmony and Sounds of Victory will be featured at a combined Thanksgiving-Christmas service Sunday at 10:30 a.m. at Long Hollow Baptist Church in the Valley Forge community.
Everyone is invited.

Doe River Baptist
Doe River Baptist Church, 113 Avon St., will have its food pantry Wednesday, Dec. 15, at 6 p.m.
The pantry is being held earlier this month due to the Christmas holiday.

First Presbyterian
First Presbyterian Church, Elizabethton, will have both an in-persson and online worship service Sunday, Dec. 12, at 11 a.m.
The pastor, the Rev. Dr. Bryan Wyatt, will present a sermon from Isa. 55: 1-13.
Adult Forum, Wednesday Meditation, and Thursdays with Jesus will all meet online this week. Youth will meet in person.
First Presbyterian is located at 119 W. F St.

First Baptist
The Worship Ministries of First Baptist Church, Elizabethton, will present “Gift of Christmas” Sunday, Dec. 12, at the 6 p.m. worship service.
Including adults, students, and children, the musical presents the Christmas story — the birth of Christ and his ministry on earth.
The public is invited.

Elizabethton Alliance
The Elizabethton Alliance Church, located at 533 E. Elk Ave., will host its Christmas Open House Saturday from 4 to 8 p.m.
Persons visiting the downtown to shop or see the annual Christmas parade are invited to stop in for a free goodie bag filled with sweet treats, free hot chocolate, and coffee, and lots of Christmas music.
