Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

To the Editor:
A great big thanks is due to this Elizabethton community for raising $3,311 at the recent Christmas Piano Concert and ARM Fundraiser at Borderview Christian Church. It was a joy for me to present special Christmas selections on the new grand piano to a packed house. Attendees generously shared this Christmas love offering at the request of Dan Banks, ARM assistant director, and Scott Fisher, host minister. Thanks to everyone for their vote of confidence in our local food pantry, as they continue to provide a full cart of food for nearly 400 Carter County families each month.
ARM has needed a larger refrigerated cooler for some time in order to store fresh vegetables. After much planning, we decided to make the commitment to the project. And then a Christmas miracle arrived when an anonymous donor presented ARM with a check to cover the cost of the new cooler, which is currently being constructed at a Knoxville company. What a blessing to this non-profit organization! We are privileged to live in this special, caring community.
