Herman Geidel Jr, age 93, of Elizabethton, TN passed away Thursday, December 16, 2021, at his residence. Herman was born in New York to the late Herman Geidel Sr. and Lillian Bouger Geidel. He served for the US Army and later worked as a contractor in Carpentry. Herman was a good father, husband and a strong stern provider. He enjoyed going to church, making furniture and anything from wood. Herman was a member of Oak Grove Christian Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his two sisters and a brother. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 68 years, Carmel Geidel, of the home; two sons, Philip Geidel and Patrick Geidel; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Silver Angels for all their loving care and to Oak Grove Christian Church Women’s Circle for all their support during this difficult time.
