• The online virtual kick-off is scheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2022, from 8:30 to 9 p.m. You can view the kick-off at https://www.facebook.com/events/1126621541207611.

• First Lap is scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 8, all day! The Carter County Relay Community would like to encourage you to meet at the Covered Bridge at 1 p.m. to do their first lap. If you are unable, you can do the “lap” anywhere. You can take a picture and post to tag it to social media as listed below using #RelayFirstLap. If you don’t do social media then just take your first lap and celebrate with everyone!

There will be a meeting later in January to discuss committees and teams for this upcoming year. The date and location will be announced soon. Mailings will be sent out to survivors to invite you to come join the meetings. This will be a great time to learn how you can participate!

If you are a survivor, caregiver, or team member but have never registered please go online to RelayForLife.org/cartertn and register for Carter County. You can also find us at www.Facebook.com/relayforlifecartertn.
If you do not have a way to register online you can stop at Betsy Treasures located in downtown Elizabethton at 547 E. Elk Ave., or call Sherie at 423-213-6089.
