July 19, 1946 – December 23, 2021
Margaret Beatrice Wilson Jones went home to be with her Lord on December 23, 2021, following an extended illness.
Margaret worked in retail for 20+ years when she retired from Carlton Cards in the Mall at Johnson City. She was a lifelong member of Borderview Christian Church, where she enjoyed singing in the choir with her daughter for many years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband and father of her children, Charles “Bud” Parker; her second husband, Lee Roy Jones; her sister, Lois Faye Shank; and brothers, Claude MacArthur Wilson, Kyle Wilson, and Edward Wilson.
Those left to cherish her memory are her sister, Marie Parlier, Elizabethton; her two children, Keith (Sherrie) Parker of Rock Hill, S.C., and Jennifer (Jerry) Jenkins, Elizabethton; four grandchildren, Brian (Morgan) Jenkins, Elizabethton, Brittany (Justin) Colbaugh, Elizabethton, Joshua Parker, Winston-Salem, N.C., and Victoria Parker, Paris, France; three great-grandchildren, her babies, Bradley and Mia Jenkins, and Hudson Colbaugh; her special niece, Lori (Rick) Smithdeal and son Sean, Elizabethton; and many others she considered her nieces, nephews and grandchildren.
On behalf of the family, we would like to thank her special caretaker, Sharon Wright with Hillview, and her nurse Megan Renfro with Amedisys Hospice.
A memorial service will be held at Borderview Christian Church on Monday, January 3, at 6 p.m.
