Schedule of activities at the Elizabethton Senior Center for the week of January 24-28:
HOURS: Monday – Thursday, 8 a.m. – 3 p.m.; Friday: 8 a.m. – noon.
The billiard room and fitness room are open and no appointments necessary.
Monday: Just Keep Movin’ — Cardio, Toning, Strength Building, 9-10 a.m.; Lunch — Breaded Chicken Tenders, 11 a.m.; Chair Yoga, 12:15-1:15 p.m., with Instructor, Shirley Gomillian, $3; Gentle-flow Yoga, 1:30-2:30 p.m., with Instructor, Carrie Maggard, $3.
Tuesday: Lunch — Taco Soup, 11 a.m.; Shopping at Wal-Mart, 12-1 p.m. Please call the Center to schedule a ride; Line Dancing, 12-1 p.m., with Instructor, Sharon Pilk, $3.
Wednesday: Just Keep Movin’ — Cardio, Toning, Strength Building, 9-10 a.m.; Lunch — Scrambled Egg Patty, 11 a.m.; Chair Yoga, 12:15-1:15 p.m., with Instructor, Shirley Gomillian, $3; Gentle-flow Yoga, 1:30-2:30 p.m., with Instructor, Carrie Maggard, $3.
Thursday: Lunch — Chicken & Dumplings, 11 a.m.
Friday: Just Keep Movin’ — Cardio, Toning, Strength Building, 9-10 a.m.; Let’s Play Bingo, 10 a.m.; Lunch — Sloppy Joe, 11 a.m.; Close at 12 noon.
Wanting to volunteer in the community? Call Renee at 543-4255 and talk to her about delivering homebound meals.
REMINDER: Street signs with reflective numbers are still available at the Center for a cost of $5 — these are provided at this discount price through our SALT Council. Make sure you can be located in case of an emergency.
