The Keenburg Lady Tigers and Little Milligan Lady Buffaloes were the first game of the small school tournament finals held Friday night at Central Elementary School.
Little Milligan would jump out to an early lead as Serinity Harper hit a nice jump shot from the baseline to put the Lady Buffaloes up to an early 8-1 lead with two minutes left in the first period.
Keenburg struggled in the first period with only one point as Savanna Green made her presence known for Little Milligan under the basket early on.
The Lady Buffaloes would make it 12-1 as the first period ended.
Amy Ray for Keenburg led the charge for the Lady Tigers as they tried to claw their way back.  She had her best scoring in the second period with four points, but Little Milligan would keep the pressure on and make it difficult for the Tigers.
Ray’s hustle and tenacity was a bright spot for Keenburg going into halftime.

Serenity Harper had a strong third period with eight points and 14 overall.
