Elizabeth Ann Crowe Blevins, 78, Elizabethton, passed away Sunday, May 22, 2022, at Sycamore Shoals Hospital. She was born September 14, 1943 in Elizabethton to the late Durane Jerry and Ida Lucille Hart Crowe.
Elizabeth was a 1961 graduate of Elizabethton High School and was employed as a Teachers Aide. She loved spending time with her family and friends, loved music and loved watching birds. She was a member of Slagles United Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bruce Lee Blevins.
Survivors include her children, Jennifer Carpenter and husband Kirbie, Elizabethton, and Billy Joe Blevins and wife Lisa, Johnson City; her grandchildren, Kelsey Pierce and husband Eric, Logan Carpenter and wife Rebekah Moore, Daylann Blevins and wife Ashley, Morgan Blevins and Megan Blevins; one great-grandchild, Everly Victoria Pierce; one sister, Jerry Sue Greene, and two brothers, Jeff Crowe and Jody Crowe, all of Elizabethton. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, May 26, in the George Mottern Cemetery with Pastor Lu Crandell Miller officiating. Active pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1 until 2 p.m. Thursday, prior to the graveside service.
