‘Meet the Band’ – ‘Florencia & The Feeling’ at August Muse

Start off the First Friday evening downtown Elizabethton on August 5 meeting the members of “Florencia & the Feeling” at 518 East Elk Ave., at August Muse. These local artists enjoy creating pop/funk fusion music of both cover songs and original songs.
“Florencia & the Feeling” is a local band featuring Latin American singer-songwriter Florencia Rusiñol who grew up in Johnson City. Her musical style is influenced by her Argentinian roots and her jazz-singing background. The Feeling features a group of incredibly talented musicians. Their captivating and carefree energy permeates joy at every concert.
“Meet the Band” is from 5 to 6 p.m. at 518 East Elk Ave., at August Muse. Enjoy early evening First Friday activities downtown, then walk down to the Covered Bridge Park for food and enjoy hearing “Florencia & the Feeling” live on the Covered Bridge Stage from 7 to 9 p.m. The event is sponsored by Carter County Bank.
“Florencia & The Feeling,” a group of incredibly talented musicians, will be a part of First Friday activities. They will play at the Covered Bridge Stage from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday.
