UPDATED: Butler man dies in motorcycle accident

A Butler man was killed Tuesday when the motorcycle he was riding collided with another vehicle.
The accident took place mid-afternoon. on Highway 19E near 1st Avenue, according to the Tennessee Highway Patrol.
A Subaru driven by Amy Hughes was stopped at a stop sign on 1st Avenue. As the vehicle attempted to cross Highway 19E, it collided with a motorcycle ridden by Hunter Gregory Maney of Butler.
Butler died as a result of injuries sustained in the collision.
Troopers have not released any additional information pending the investigation.
