Man brandishing a knife charged with two counts of aggravated assault

Washington County Sheriff’s Office Deputies arrested Braden Autrey, 24, Jonesborough, and charged him with two counts of aggravated assault after he brandished a knife in two separate incidences on Monday, Aug. 8.
According to Sheriff Keith Sexton, Autrey arrived at two separate residences on Bailey Bridge Road where he threatened the occupants with a fixed blade knife. He then caused a disturbance on the campus of Washington College Academy (WCA).
Deputies located Autrey a short time later near WCA and took him into custody. He was booked into the Washington County Detention Center on a $10,000 bond.
